Sensors are essential for obtaining relevant status data of processes, ambient conditions and medical conditions: temperature, pressure, force, lengths, humidty, radiation, brightness, acidity, etc.

They are broadly used in discrete manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical production, medical sector, building automation, logistics, food & beverage production, mobility and travel.

Examples of components

Many sensor types require controlled internal conditions in a housing, i.e. basically free from any impurities. This can be achieved by sealing the housings in vacuum conditions.
